PROJECT OUTREACH:

A special program of Awareness Sensitivity Education for students and teachers in Hebrew Day Schools that encourages the social inclusion and acceptance of children with special needs in our community.



INFANT INTERVENTION PROGRAM:

A program for parents and their babies that includes activities and therapies directed by an interventionist, speech and language pathologist and occupational, physical and music therapists.
For infants and children to age 2


PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

ECE stimulating therapy-based programs with a 2:1 student/teacher ratio providing intensive individual programming and a Jewish pre-school curriculum. Specialized early childhood educators, life skills teachers, teaching assistants and a full team of Zareinu therapists work with children attending full or part time. For children 2-5.  


ELEMENTARY GRADES

Programs of learning strategies that use both individual and group therapies to enhance Hebrew and English studies for children with mild to moderate developmental disabilities. Some children may attend other day schools or school settings for half days with our consultation. Staffed with special education teachers and therapists who use a variety of English and Hebrew remedial programs. For children 6-13.  


COMMUNICATION/LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM:

An intensive intervention program using enhanced augmentative communication techniques and individualized academic programming for children with severe to profound developmental disabilities. This program is staffed with a teacher/student ratio of 1:1. For children 6-13.


APPLIED BEHAVIORAL ANALYSIS PROGRAM:

This unique program is consulted to by Autism Partnership and based on the ABA model classrooms in the US. Zareinu adds their unique features of integrating speech, occupational, music and play therapies. For children 6-13.


SATELLITE HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM:

Zareinu provides specialized programming for secondary school aged students concentrating on life skills and adapted special education in both English and Hebrew studies. Support is provided for individualized integration within the academic host setting where possible. For children 14-21.
